Update: Management reached out directly and spoke with me personally regarding the situation. I appreciate the professionalism and the offer to make things right. I will update this review again after completing the follow-up stay. - I am submitting a formal safety complaint regarding a serious incident involving your valet staff that occurred during the holiday season of last year at the time of my stay. This complaint is being submitted now because I was advised at the time that management would follow up and rectify the matter. I allowed a reasonable period for internal review and response, however no follow-up communication or resolution was ever provided, which is why I am documenting the incident formally as of February 8. On the evening of the incident, I pulled up to speak with valet and was asked whether I wanted valet or self-parking. I clearly stated self-park. I was then instructed to go inside to obtain a parking pass. I specifically asked whether it was acceptable to leave my vehicle where it was while I obtained the pass, and I was told “absolutely no problem.” Based on that instruction, I left my vehicle running with my daughter, Julie, inside while I went to check in. Approximately five minutes later, my daughter ran inside barefoot and visibly distressed, stating, “That was crazy.” At that moment, an unidentified individual wearing a T-shirt and shorts approached me aggressively, demanded my keys, and attempted to take them from my hand while yelling that I was “holding up the line.” This individual did not clearly identify himself as staff, and I had not authorized valet service. I stated that I would move the vehicle myself, yet he again attempted to take my keys and followed me back outside. Only afterward did I learn the most alarming detail: This individual had opened my car door, sat in the driver’s seat, and attempted to move my vehicle while my child was still inside. My daughter became frightened, exited the vehicle without her shoes, and ran inside to find me. She was trembling by the time we reached our room and remained without her shoes due to how quickly she fled the situation. That evening, I spoke with the shift manager after being placed on hold for approximately 15 minutes. I was assured that the Valet Director and Hotel Director would contact me the following morning around 9:00 AM. No one ever called. No written incident report was provided. No apology, explanation, or corrective action was communicated despite my expectation that this matter would be addressed promptly. This situation represents a serious safety and procedural failure, including but not limited to: • Unauthorized entry into an occupied vehicle • Attempted removal of a vehicle with a minor inside • Aggressive conduct toward a guest • Failure to properly identify staff • Contradictory instructions given by valet personnel • Failure of management follow-up after assurance of contact I delayed submitting this formal complaint in good faith, allowing time for the promised follow-up and resolution. Since no communication or remediation ever occurred, I am now requesting the following: 1. Direct contact from hotel management 2. A written incident report or internal findings, if any exist 3. An explanation of how this situation was permitted to occur 4. Clarification of corrective or preventative actions taken since the incident 5. Appropriate compensation or goodwill consideration given the distress and safety risk involved This incident on December 6-7 involved the safety of a minor and unauthorized interference with my vehicle. I am formally documenting this now due to the complete lack of follow-through after assurances were given. I respectfully request timely acknowledgment and resolution.

This is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach! The room was spotless, the beds and pillows, very comfortable. Every employee I encountered was helpful, attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Beautiful lobby, great location on the beach, enjoyed the hot tub which was my main reason for staying here. I didn’t realize I’d have to pay for parking and that the lot was around the corner. The room was adequate but the shower door didn’t close all the way which caused water on the bathroom floor. The swimming pool was too cold for our taste. Overall, this was a good stay, especially because of the hot tub.

I want to take a moment during my 8-day vacation to commend Ralph and Ender for their outstanding hospitality, care, and professionalism at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort. We’ve been staying here for two seasons, and it’s always a pleasant experience, but this visit was extraordinary thanks to their dedication. After staying at other hotels in the Boynton Beach, Delray, and Boca areas, this has by far been our best stay. We plan to return every year. Thank you to Ralph, Ender, and the entire team. We had an issue with our first room and Sofi at the front desk was quick to make it right! Our pool bartender Jen was great and knew the names of our large group as if she’s known us forever. Location and room views are ideal! All around a great stay!

Our High School swim team held its end of season banquet at the Wyndham Resort Deerfield, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was beautiful and convenient, creating a celebratory atmosphere for the team and families. The food was absolutely amazing - fresh, well presented and enjoyed by everyone. We couldn't ask for a better venue to celebrate a successful season and would highly recommend it for group events and banquets.

From our very first interaction, Shane was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. His responsiveness, positive attitude, and willingness to help made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. As wedding and event planners and decoration company, working closely with venues is essential to our success, and having professionals like Shane makes all the difference. He truly goes above and beyond. We highly recommend Shane and the entire hotel staff for their outstanding service, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. The location as ideal, with the beach right in front of the hotel and excellent restaurants adjacent. Guests receive beach towels, lounge chairs, and a shade umbrella set up by hotel staff. An older building but nicely updated and well-maintained. Rooms were comfortable. Parking was in a lot adjacent to the hotel and easy in and out.
